The internal educational quality assurance system (EQAS) at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Lodz is based on multifaceted monitoring of the educational programs offered and cosemester surveys of students. Since 2011/2012, the educational programs created at the Faculty have been consulted with the Faculty Education Quality Committee, which is obliged to collect and popularize good practices. Educational programs should be discussed with students. the Faculty Education Quality Committe recommends (with possible proposals for amendments) the educational program to the Dean, and the Dean presents it to the Faculty Council for approval. After its approval, the program, is dealt with by the University Committee for Quality of Education, which shows the best described programs on the website www.sylabusy.uni.lodz.pl. The University Committee for Quality of Education recommends the programs to the Rector, who presents them to the Senate.

In accordance with the resolution of the Council of the Faculty of Philology of the University of Lodz dated June 21, 2013 on the approval of the quality management policy of the Faculty of Philology, the Council of the Faculty defined the objectives of educational quality assurance activities and indicated the activities to achieve these objectives. These consist, among other things, of improving the circulation of information on educational quality assurance activities, improving the evaluation of teaching offerings, verifying curricula and course descriptions, analyzing the evaluation of teaching activities by students.According to the resolution, the opinions of employers on the competencies of graduates required in the labor market will also be systematically analyzed, and the position of the Faculty in the educational market will be monitored.

The practice of auditing classes is aimed at mutual exchange of teaching experience, synchronization of the educational process and verification of the assessment of the quality of teaching expressed in student surveys.

The Department of Information, Library and Book Studies at the University of Lodz has also introduced the internal guidelines for quality education concerning, among other things, quality recommendations on the procedure of lecturers' contacts with students and methods of verification of learning outcomes 2022.
